Microsoft Teams Integration
Send Data Mesh Manager notifications directly to your Microsoft Teams channels by setting up a Notification Channel with a Teams webhook URL.

Setup
You can set up Microsoft Teams notifications using two methods:
Option 1: Create a Teams Webhook using Power Automate (Recommended)
Create a webhook using Microsoft Power Automate workflows:
- Navigate to your Microsoft Teams channel
- Click "Workflows" at the top of the channel
- Click "Create" or browse templates
- Search for and select "Send webhook alerts to a channel" template
- Use "Data Mesh Manager Notifications" for the workflow name and click Next
- Configure the workflow settings:
- Team: Select your team
- Channel: Select the notification channel
- Click "Add workflow"
- Copy the generated webhook URL from the workflow details
Option 2: Create a Teams Webhook using Office 365 Connector
Use the built-in Office 365 Connector for direct webhook integration:
- Navigate to your Microsoft Teams channel
- Click the three dots (⋯) next to the channel name
- Select "Connectors" from the dropdown menu
- Find "Incoming Webhook" in the connectors list
- Click "Configure" next to Incoming Webhook
- Enter "Data Mesh Manager Notifications" as the name
- Optionally upload an image for the webhook
- Click "Create"
- Copy the generated webhook URL
- Click "Done"
3. Add Notification Channel in Data Mesh Manager
Configure the notification channel in Data Mesh Manager:
- Go to your Team Page in Data Mesh Manager
- Click "Add Notification Channel" in the right sidebar
- Select the appropriate platform:
- If using Power Automate: Select "Add MS Teams Webhook (Workflows)"
- If using Office 365 Connector: Select "Add MS Teams Webhook (O365 Connector)"
- Enter "Microsoft Teams" as the name
- Paste the webhook URL from either the Power Automate workflow or Office 365 Connector
- Click "Test" to send a sample notification
- Save the notification channel
